A partner with International Travel Incentives, Larry Alpert passed away from Leukemia in November. Larry was a man who lived a life full of zest, optimism, determination and strength. He always had a smile, loved laughing, sharing jokes, and had a way of making people know he cared. All of which made him a natural in the industry.

In Memoriam: Cheryl Fernandez Louie
With great sadness we report the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Cheryl Fernandez Louie.
Cheryl was Director of Accounts, West Coast, for the Hawaii Visitors and Conventions Bureau. She was an active Site member and served as co-chair of our 2005 Holiday Event.
Cheryl passed away Sunday, November 2, after a valiant battle with brain cancer. She is survived by her husband, Evan and her young daughter Cevan. |
In Memoriam: Kevin Forde
Longtime travel industry friend, colleague and Site Member, Kevin Forde, passed away on July 11th after a valiant battle with cancer. Kevin was president of Kevin Forde & Associates and represented the Switzerland Tourism Bureau. He was a strong supporter and attendee of the Site SoCal Holiday Event for many years.

In Memoriam: Claudia Jennings
The meetings and incentive travel industry lost a longtime colleague in the passing of Claudia Jennings of Corporate Diversions. Claudia passed away on April 28, 2008 after a valiant struggle with breast cancer. She fought cancer with hope and determination, inspiring many with her courage. She leaves a large footprint for all to follow. Claudia's sister, Aileen Feuerberg, will continue operating Corporate Diversions. You may read Aileen's tribute to Claudia here.

In Memoriam: Tamara Nored
It is with heavy hearts that we share that Tamara Nored passed away in September. To all who knew her, Tamara was an important incentive and travel industry leader and dear friend. Tamara was always that bright energy in the room with a smile that greeted everyone and a heart as big as Texas. Tamara worked at Griffin Meetings & Incentives, and served the members of Site faithfully as a Site International Board Director as well as through work on Site committees.
