Site Southern California Chapter-Needs Assessment Results 2009 PDF Print E-mail

I would like to thank each and every member and non-member of SITE for taking the time to complete our chapter’s needs assessment survey that was sent our last month.

The results are in! We received an astounding 185 responses to the survey. This included 82 SITE members or 46%. The 54% on non-member responses help our chapter to fine-tune our efforts in meeting the needs of industry professionals so that they become SITE SoCal members in the future.

SITE SoCal is rich in experienced attendees. Over 62% of those that responded had 16+ years of industry experience. Of those attending SITE events, 51% do so for sales networking and 49% do so for education and meeting with peers. This is the perfect balance that our chapter reaches for.

Major topics of interest for future meetings were economic changes to the hospitality industry and new and unique industry trends. With 88% of the respondents stating that SITE SoCal meets their educational needs, our chapter will continue to focus on providing the educational content that our experienced members have requested.

A whopping 97% of respondents listed EMAIL as their preferred method of communication from SITE SoCal… we read you loud and clear!

With the overall satisfaction rating of 8.4% on a scale of 1 to 10, there is still room for improvement. Our chapter is committed to providing the needs of all our members and non-members and setting ourselves apart as an industry leader. Thank you again for your continued support!
