February is fast upon us and it's been a great start to the year. On January 28th we held a very successful Educational luncheon at the beautiful Montage Laguna Beach Resort & Spa where ROI was top of mind.
We were thrilled to present our three charities from our Site Holiday Event with cheques in the amount of $40,620.00 each, in addition to our yearly contribution to the Karen Henderson Memorial Fund.
Site SoCal 2009 Holiday Event & Charity Fundraiser produces record results!
The Site SoCal Chapter Board of Directors was thrilled to announce the following outstanding results at the first Chapter lunch meeting on January 28. Checks were presented to the three designated charities at the lunch and each charity was given the opportunity to say a few words of acknowledgement.

Thank you once again for all the support of the Holiday Event. What a great time we had! We gave away every raffle prize and sold all auction items, silent and live! Actually we sold an extra live auction package thanks to Ted Brady of Emirate Airlines. Having won the Dubai raffle prize which included Emirate tickets, Ted generously gave it back to us to auction off, and helped us raise another $9,500! Final figures from the Holiday Event are anticipated around mid-January.
Site SoCal CONGRATULATES OUR OWN MARY JEANNE CHAPMAN, Site MEMBER OF THE YEAR
During the Site International Conference in Aruba, the association bestowed its highest individual award—Site Member of the Year— upon Mary Jeanne Chapman, MA, CPC,President of Chapman Incentive Adventures, a Palm Desert, California-based organization delivering a combination of motivational tools which blend Executive Coaching and Incentive Travel Awards. For her role as a leader inspiring Site members around the globe to move the industry forward, Ms. Chapman joins a prestigious group of industry leaders who have carried the title, Site Member of the Year.
Ms. Chapman is a 20+ year member who brings tireless energy, effort and ideas to Site. She has served diligently as both Chair of the Chapter Leadership Council (working with Site’s 34 global chapters) and the Chapter Vitality Program Chair coaching chapters in leadership transition. In 2009, she supported both the Site Nite and Site Classic committees to raise funds for the Site International Foundation.
Similar to those she follows, Mary Jeanne has demonstrated her dedication to Site and the motivational experiences industry by demonstrating how business can create high performing teams through experiential adventures. Her talents and programs have been recognized with six Crystal Awards. Mary Jeanne received a Masters Degree in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica; graduated from the College of Executive Coaching; and is an accredited coach with the International Coach Federation. For over thirty years, she has owned her own business in the travel and event-planning field. Site is proud to name Mary Jeanne Chapman 2009 Site Member of the Year
